ABOUT US
Established in 2024, Cambrian Surgery Centre is an independent surgical center providing unparalleled surgical care for patients in a caring, and respectful environment.
In compliance with Alberta provincial legislation, Cambrian Surgery Centre is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta as a Non-Hospital Surgical Facility.
Our surgeons and anesthesiologists are highly trained medical professionals who are fully certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and also have staff appointments at one or more of the Calgary Zone hospitals.
Our nursing staff have extensive experience in the care of surgical patients and have Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
THE SPACE
Cambrian Surgery Centre is a sophisticated and modern non-hospital surgical facility located south of University District—an up-and-coming, trendy neighbourhood in Northwest Calgary. It is about a 12-minute drive from city centre making it accessible.
Our three modern and spacious operating rooms are well-equipped and capable of accommodating a large variety of outpatient surgical procedures. Patients recover from their surgery in our post-anaesthetic care unit, where they are monitored closed in a safe and tranquil environment.
Minor procedure rooms offer a quiet and private environment for less complex procedures.
Behind the scenes, our state of the art Medical Devices Reprocessing Department works efficiently to provide excellence in cleaning, inspection, assembly and sterilization of equipment.
